Congratulations to Meals on Wheels

HVC would like to extend our best wishes to Meals on Wheels as they celebrate 50 years of work in the community. Hope you have a great party, you deserve it!!!

Meals on Wheels engages volunteers in a range of activities including; meal preparation, administration and on management committees, but their traditional work is the delivery of meals.

Last financial year in NSW they
delivered an incredible 3,053,303 meals and in Australia overall 10,953,217 meals. Such an effort has allowed many elderly and frail persons to stay in their own homes and given them a cheerful contact with the outside world. Long may they continue!!!
