Role Description

Providing meaningful social support is as simple as a cuppa and a chat. This role aims to support older people who are feeling isolated and lonely. Just by being a friendly visitor, you will help strengthen their wellbeing and bring happiness to your life and theirs. In this role, you will be introduced to an older person who shares similar interests to you. You will visit them weekly or fortnightly at a time that suits you. This is a very flexible way to fit volunteering into your life.

Training

Volunteers are provided with initial training and ongoing support. You will also become a valuable member of our team of kind and amazing people. You will have the opportunity to participate in Volunteer Recognition events and free training.
