Role Description

Assist with the operation of the Book Trolley at our Centre. This role involves processing donated books and magazines, including screening suitable books and magazines for content. You will organise and maintain the Volunteer Library, organise and transport the book trolley, offer books and magazines to consumers, their carers, and families in our Centre and provide general support and/or conversation to involve them in positive connections.

Training

Organisation general mandatory training for volunteers, including infection prevention and control, WHS, fire and safety, Code of Conduct, privacy and security awareness. Mental Health specific training for volunteers including prevention and management of violence and aggression. On-site orientation to the role and mentoring from existing volunteers.
