Our outdoor workers assist with maintenance of the grounds and the surrounds at the Centre, such as weeding, mulching, planting and watering. At times there may be physical jobs for those who are able to undertake such tasks. An interest in plants & native vegetation would be beneficial. A love of working outdoors is a requisite for the position. Hours are flexible, as are the days of the week. Must be fully vaccinated for COVID 19.
Set in a beautiful natural site of international significance, volunteering at the Centre offers you the chance to connect with nature whilst contributing to a valuable Hunter community asset. Become part of an enthusiastic team of fellow volunteers with a common love of the outdoors and a desire to see the Centre returned to its natural flora.
Volunteers are given every support and supervision, including Workforce Health & Safety training. Training is also provided for the operation of relevant equipment. Induction sessions are held each Wednesday at 10.30am or by special arrangement.
