Role Description

Do you have good team work skills and like helping others? Clothing Pool Volunteers will assist with the operation of the Clothing Pool at our Centre. This role involves unpacking and sorting donated clothing according to a set of guidelines, including sorting according to size and season. Packaging clothing and delivering items and packs to the Centre via a trolley from the Volunteer Office. Reviewing and maintaining stock levels, including assisting with targeted appeals for donations.

Training

On-site orientation to the role and mentoring from existing volunteers. General mandatory training for volunteers, including infection prevention and control, WHS, fire and safety, Code of Conduct, privacy and security awareness. Mental Health specific training for volunteers including cultural awareness, personal safety and inclusivity training.
