Role Description
Your excellent time management & communication skills, & empathy, respect & support of our community are sought for this role. You'll work proactively to assist the driver/coordinator of this essential service. You'll be required to assist with displaying fresh food, collecting food from supermarket, sorting & removing inedible produce, & applying COVID 19 requirements. You'll work well in a team, have knowledge of OHS & abide by NSW Health policies. Drivers License and own vehicle required.

Training
All volunteers are required to participate in an Induction Training Program and will receive ongoing training, support and supervision. Undertake WHS training along with NSW Health policies and procedures for safe handling of food.

Additional Information
Part-time 8 hours per week, every Wednesday and Friday. Preferable access to wagon vehicle but not essential. Current Drivers License and own comprehensively insured vehicle is required. National Criminal Record Check and Working with Children Check required. Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, demonstrated time management skills, knowledge and understanding of WHS policies and procedures. Physically able to do the role (e.g. lifting boxes) . Desirable skills: working with volunteers and members of community, First Aid Certificate.
