Your ability to work in a team and physical fitness will be highly regarded in this role. You'll be working in the furniture op shop team, providing general assistance in the warehouse with furniture loading and unloading, and rearranging furniture in the warehouse. You'll also assist the truck driver with deliveries and pickups. National Criminal and Working with Children Checks are required.
You'll be working in a supportive environment with a great all-volunteer team. Develop friendships with other team members and the wider community, and gain the satisfaction of being part of an organisation that supports vulnerable individuals and local community projects. This role can be used to gain and maintain valuable workplace skills.
You'll be provided with a workplace induction, including maintaining a safe workplace environment, safe operation of equipment and safe handling of furniture as well as familiarisation with the warehouse system. Ongoing support and supervision as required.
