Role Description

This local heritage organisation is looking for people to assist with restoration and maintenance of rolling stock, as well as helping with a variety of labouring tasks around the site and act as offsider to various trades. No previous experience or specific skills are required-just your reliability and enthusiasm to join this friendly and passionate team. Main days of work are Wed and Sat. Must be fully vaccinated for COVID 19. You'll need to become a member of organisation.

Satisfaction of helping maintain part of our region's historical past through the preservation and restoration of railway equipment. A friendly, enthusiastic and dedicated team of volunteers. A BBQ lunch (small fee) is held every second Wednesday.

Training

Volunteers are given all necessary orientation and safety training, and ongoing support as required. Safety equipment, tools and materials supplied.
