Media Coordinator (3415)
Help raise the profile of our Centre & provide information about the Centre to the community. The role involves developing content for our website and making basic updates, preparing posts for Facebook & Instagram, preparing media releases and liaising with the media. You will be involved in promoting and participating in events as well as sourcing content for the monthly e-news & our 6-monthly newsletter. You will also work with our digital tech team to ensure our website is up-to-date.
Gain practical experience with media. Establish contacts in the media Some work from home and flexible hours. Be involved in internationally recognised environmental organisation. Experience in working as member of a team. Experience in updating website.
Training to be able to make basic changes to the website. Training to become familiar with the Centre and its operations.
Average 10 hours per week. Negotiable Some weekend shifts when events are happening.
