We require volunteers to provide companionship and social support for our clients who may be aged, living with disability or experience disadvantage. The service provides highly valued social interaction and ensures clients remain connected to community and functional in their own life. Tasks required are varied and may include assisting with shopping, or shop by list; taking out for coffee or a drive, attending group activities like luncheons at local venues, social visiting.

You will be provided with organisation induction, ongoing training, support and supervision needed to carry out the role safely and confidently.
The role is flexible in timing. You would be able to nominate regular day/s for the role to assist in scheduling. Days and hours will be discussed with each volunteer.
