Role Description

We are seeking volunteers to make daily and/or social conversation calls to Seniors in the Community for our Telecross and TeleCHAT services. Telecross Volunteers provide a daily morning phone call to check on the wellbeing of people who are lonely and or at risk of an accident or illness that may go unnoticed.  The calls provide reassurance as well as help to maintain independence. Alternatively, TeleCHAT provides a phone call to people who will benefit from a social chat once a week.

Training
