Timebanking

Timebanking is a program that allows the voluntary exchange of services between members, operating based on an hour for an hour. As well as connecting with your community through the joy of giving and receiving. Timebanking is a way to share your knowledge and passion for a project, organisation, recreation, or business.

Timebanking allows individuals to match their skills and desire to participate in the community with specific community needs. It promotes active participation in community life and helps address the social isolation that some people experience.

Give an hour, receive an hour of – dog walking, ironing, community gardening, driving, hospital visits, umpiring, language tuition, painting, pool cleaning….. the possibilities are endless.
