Role Description
Provide daily telephone calls to check on the well-being of people who are at risk of an accident or illness that may go unnoticed, such as falling and being unable to call for help. The calls provide reassurance as well as help to maintain independence. Volunteers provide friendship, support and help improve the person's quality of life. This role is available across the Greater Hunter area.

Training
Volunteers receive program specific training, as well as ongoing relevant training and support.

7.30 - 9am. Volunteers need to be able to commit to one of three calling patterns – 7 days/week; 5 days being Mon to Fri; or weekend calls.
