Role Description

We require volunteers to provide essential transport services for our clients who may be aged, living with disability or experience disadvantage. Drivers deliver a door-through-door service to transport clients to attend shopping and/or appointments. This includes assisting clients from door into/out of vehicle. In addition to the transport, the service provides highly valued incidental social interaction with our clients.

Training

Volunteer drivers are trained and supported to carry out the role safely and confidently and vehicles are maintained to meet high quality safety and accreditation standards of the NSW Passenger Transport Act.
