Role Description

Volunteer driving mentors support young people who are wanting to obtain their Provisional Licence. Mentors support Learner Drivers to obtain 120hrs of driving time in their log book before they undertake the Provisional Licence test. Vehicles are supplied and learners will have completed 5-10 hours of professional instruction prior to being placed with a Driving Mentor. Working with children & criminal history checks required. Organisation will assist to obtain checks if required.

Training

Organisation induction and all other training will be provided as required. Volunteers will be required to complete forms prior to commencing in the role.

Additional Information

Days and times to be discussed with each volunteer. A minimum of 2 hours per week of driving with a student. Times available 7am - 9pm. 7 days per week week.
