Role Description
We are seeking volunteers to assist with our therapeutic groups & one-off events. Groups include recreational groups (weekly and/or monthly) for young people aged 8-12 years as well as 12-15 years, and one- off family and children’s events & camps. Have fun and use your enthusiasm and energy to engage with participants in recreational activities and group discussions. Be a role model to participants by encouraging manners, social skills and respect. Assist with set up and pack down of activities

Training
Volunteers will be provided with training and the opportunity to brief and debrief before and after events. A 90- minute training session is provided, which can be in person or online.

Let's chat about your availability. Our INLAND Hunter Recreational Group (8-12 years) is monthly on a Tuesday in Maitland area. 4 - 6pm. Our Coastal Hunter Recreational Group ( 8-12 year) is monthly on a Tuesday in Newcastle/ Lake Mac area 4- 6pm. Our Eco Group ( 12-14 year) is weekly on a Wednesday from 4:30-6:30pm, involves a weekend camp (one night). SPARK all female group (12-15 years) is a weekly group held on Wednesdays from 4:30pm-6:30pm in Term 2 involving a one-night camp.
