2026 Volunteer Expo

The Hunter Volunteer Centre will be presenting the 2026 Newcastle/Lake Macquarie Volunteer Expo on 2nd September 2026 at Charlestown Bowling Club. This is a free community event bringing together local not-for-profit organisations and people interested in volunteering.

Organisations will have the opportunity to spotlight the work they do in our community, discuss their programs, and meet directly with community members interested in taking on volunteer roles.

Individuals can explore a variety of volunteering opportunities, meet face-to-face with local organisations, and chat with current volunteers from across the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie region.
