Join this friendly and passionate team of volunteers. This role involves maintaining and restoring wooden bodied heritage railway rolling stock (rail motors) for operation on the national rail network. Maintaining other wooden facilities within our Depot precinct. Our maintenance facilities are located in our Depot at Paterson. Your reliability and enthusiasm will be appreciated, as will your previous woodworking or carpentry experience.

Satisfaction in maintaining and operating a State-heritage listed fleet of vintage former NSW Government Railways railway rolling stock. The opportunity to participate in the organisation’s main line tourist operations as a crew member. Participation in a friendly team dedicated to the preservation of the State’s railway history.

Orientation and vocational training on our equipment under experienced supervision.
