About the role

Enjoy a walk and a chat as you stroll along the shoreline of Ash Island picking up small items of litter. You’ll use a grab stick and bag to pick up small items, mostly plastic, to ensure they don’t enter waterways threatening wildlife, and help improve the visual appeal of the landscape. At the end of the shift, you’ll enter the data into the computer, with help provided if needed, to record types of litter collected. This is part of a Citizen Science project.
