Your diesel experience, motor mechanic or trade’s assistant will be highly regarded when you join this friendly and passionate team of volunteers. You’ll be servicing railway vehicle engines, doing general maintenance and inspections etc for operation on the national rail network. Our maintenance facilities are located in our Depot at Paterson. Your reliability and enthusiasm will be appreciated.

Satisfaction in maintaining and operating a State-heritage listed fleet of vintage former NSW Government Railways railway rolling stock. The opportunity to participate in our main line tourist operations as a crew member. Participation in a friendly team dedicated to the preservation of the State’s railway history.

Orientation and vocational training on our equipment under experienced supervision.
