Number of hours, days and times are all very flexible. Hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3 pm. If possible, would like volunteer to commit to a minimum of 2 days per week, and would like an ongoing commitment of a minimum of 6 months.

About the role

Your creativity, fashion sense & eye for detail will be well regarded in this role as you sort donated clothes & goods according to brands & their suitability for resale. You’ll be required to prepare & pack goods, once bound for landfill but now recycled, for distribution to our charity shops. Your good time management, presentation & organisational skills and efficiency are essential. You’ll assist with cleaning & keeping the centre tidy. You’ll be physically able to lift bulky items.

The Distribution Centre sorts, prepares and delivers goods to stores for sale, recycling goods and reducing the amount of waste. Training provided

No experience is necessary as coaching and training is provided, however any previous experience in fashion retail or warehousing would be with knowledge of a range of fashion brands, to share their experience with their fellow volunteers in the Distribution Centre.

Volunteers will need to be physically fit to lift clothing bags and bulky items. Current National Criminal Check and current drivers licence required.
