Your previous forklift driving experience, forklift operator licence, ability to work in a team and physical fitness will be highly regarded in this role. You’ll be working in the Distribution Centre team, providing general assistance in the warehouse with loading and unloading of bulky (and sometimes heavy) items, and rearranging items in the warehouse. National Criminal and Working with Children Checks and forklift operator licence are required.

You’ll play a key role in the operations of the Distribution Centre, making a contribution to this well known and highly regarded organisation. You’ll have the satisfaction of knowing you are working for an organisation that makes a difference to those in need. This role will provide you with warehouse training and experience, and other relevant work experience. The opportunity to work in a team, meet new people and potentially form new friendships and networks.

Ongoing support and instruction on how to accomplish tasks safely. Considerable amount of work is done in a team, providing opportunities to learn and share experience. Training in WHS (manual handling), and how to communicate with customers.

Volunteers will require their forklift operator licence. Current National Criminal and Working with Children Checks required. Physically able to lift and carry bulky and heavy items. You may be required to wear steel capped boots.
