Language, Literacy & Numeracy Volunteer Tutor (3128)

Your strong literacy and numeracy skills, and your patience and dedication, will be highly regarded in this role, assisting Adult Vocational Education students who may be challenged by, or face barriers with, the literacy and numeracy requirements within the course they are undertaking. You’ll assist a student with reading, writing & numeracy exercises, sometimes during class and sometimes one-on-one.

You’ll have the opportunity to support adult learners in the community as they re-engage with education and build their work-ready skills. You’ll be provided access to all course material and skills and foundation skills workbooks as resources for providing LLN support.

Volunteers will receive an Orientation, Induction and Safety instruction, and ongoing support and supervision.
