About the role

Help make a significant difference for survivors of domestic violence and homelessness. Join our team of Volunteers on a Saturday morning (some mid-week jobs in summer) and help make a significant difference for survivors of domestic violence and homelessness. Our team performs various yard maintenance work including edging, mowing, trimming trees/hedges and transferring green waste into a green bin.

Benefits of the role

It is a great opportunity to be part of helping and empowering women who have escaped domestic & family violence &/ or homelessness to maintain their lawns so that they are not at risk of eviction from their tenancy.

Training provided

Face-to-face and video training is required as well as online Safe Ministry Training. Team leaders will train volunteers to use tools appropriately as required.

This role is available at various locations across Newcastle and Lake Macquarie.
