About the role

Help bring dignity, care and connection into the lives of people receiving mental health care in our acute inpatient unit. This includes calm companionship, light engagement (art, games, music), and practical support like tidying shared spaces or assisting with clothing donations. Volunteers help make the unit a more welcoming and connected place.

Training provided

Volunteer Orientation, Role-specific training (boundaries, infection control, duress alarms, clothing pool management etc.), Ongoing support and supervision.
