Monday through Friday. This role has flexibility in timing, you will be able to nominate regular day/s for the role to assist in scheduling. Days and hours will be discussed with each volunteer.

About the role

Be part of a team of volunteer drivers, who provide essential Social Support Services to the frail, aged and those with disabilities, their carers, and others who are Socially isolated. Drivers use our fleet of well-kept, branded vehicles. The role delivers a door-through-door service. This includes assisting clients from their front door into/out of vehicle. Drivers may also be required to assist with walkers, wheelchairs and the like. Carers sometimes accompany clients.

Training provided

Volunteer drivers are trained and supported to carry out the role safely and confidently and vehicles are maintained to meet high quality safety and accreditation standards of the NSW Passenger Transport Act. A LR Drivers Licence is required.
