Use your driving skills to make a real difference! As a Volunteer Driver, you’ll collect donated furniture—like lounges, tables, fridges, and drawers—from the Newcastle-Lake Macquarie regions. Help transform empty houses into safe, welcoming homes for families escaping domestic violence. Enjoy working in pairs and driving a small van. Every trip you make helps give families a fresh start and brings hope to those rebuilding their lives.

Training provided

We offer induction and comprehensive onboarding to set you up for success. You’ll receive guidance from experienced volunteers and can take part in a trial shift to see if the role is right for you. No previous experience required—just a willingness to help and a valid driver licence.
