About the role

Are you a courteous, responsible person who can attend to telephone & general enquiries from the public as well as processing visitor entry fees, sales of merchandise & end -of -day reconciliation of ‘takings”. A basic understanding of technology is required as work involves the use of the VEND (Lightspeed) computer system for sales (training provided). You’ll be keen to learn about the history & operation of the organisation, as well as being genuinely interested in helping people.

Training provided

Initial & ongoing training will be provided in operations of the Visitor Centre including retail transactions & Occupational Health & Safety. Our aim is to ensure all volunteers gain valuable experience for the time spent with us.
