War Memorial Maintenance Volunteer (3534)

This is an opportunity to volunteer and become involved with this unique historic site. The role involves planting and maintenance of the grounds of a former Radar Station on Ash Island, in keeping with its status as a State Heritage site and a registered War Memorial. You will assist with preparing and hosting Anzac Day, Remembrance Day and other events conducted on the site.

Volunteer at a unique historical site located in Hunter Wetlands National Park. Enjoy physical activity in a bushland setting; participate in family-friendly activities and learn local military history. This is a flexible role that can switch between using physical capacity or administration and organisational skills. Relocatable ramps for building access are provided.

Training in conservation and revegetation, as it relates to the site and caring for a National Park with unique flora and fauna.
