Car Driver (3369)

Join our team of volunteer drivers who provide essential services to the frail, aged and those with disabilities, their carers, and others who are Socially Isolated. You will use our fleet of well-kept vehicles. The role delivers a door-through-door service. This includes assisting clients from their front door into/out of the vehicle. Drivers may also be required to assist with walkers and wheelchairs. The service provides highly valued incidental social interaction with our clients.

We highly value the contribution that our Volunteers make. We provide all our volunteers with uniform/PPE, access to lunchroom facilities, training and support, regular communication, and periodic meetings and social events. We strive to provide an environment that is friendly, happy, welcoming and appreciative and where the ideas and feedback of volunteers is valued and sought after. You will be provided with organisation induction, ongoing training, support and supervision needed to carry out the role safely and confidently.
