We’re looking for a friendly person who would love to brighten the day of an older lady in Scone who needs some company for weekly or fortnightly social support. Volunteering as a social visitor is a rewarding experience for you and the resident. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated.

Training provided
Online training 3-5 hrs designed to equip volunteer with scenarios they might encounter during their volunteering. Other training available if volunteer would like it.
